What I would highlight:
The residency in Johannesburg was the best part. It made me realise once again what is really important in life. No matter what hardship people were confronted with, they had a smile on their face and made the best of things. I keep this in my heart.

I cannot wait to classes in Rotterdam. A large part has to do with the classmates. It’s really entertaining. RSM has a very friendly and enjoyable environment. It’s a very supportive and nice bunch of people that’s really fun to hang out with.

I like enjoy learning about subjects that haven’t been in my mind before. Getting into the accounting, finance and operation side is great. I know about these things because I’ve been in the industry for so many years. But to manage it effectively and professionally you do need more.

What I liked the most about this programme was the group dynamics of my class. All 31 of us have grown to appreciate each other even though we all have different nationalities and personalities. This is unique about the OneMBA programme: you learn from each other.

What I would highlight:
I enjoyed the residency in Washington DC because it gave me a perspective on the USA that I didn’t have before. I wasn't sure of the importance of immigration. It made me realise people talk about ‘Africa’ but not ‘Uganda’. Learning about Europe also made me reflect on problems in Africa from an another perspective.

The quality of the teachers impressed me so much. It’s really exciting that the author of a Harvard Business Review article is your teacher, and then having the chance to exchange knowledge. I have to say fifty per cent of what you learn in this programme is from your classmates as well. Everyone has something to bring the table.

I’m learning new things, in areas I didn’t have a lot of experience in. It’s all taught in an amusing way, and I can apply it in my work. I do the learning in the evenings, but never feel like it’s a lonely experience. I really feel like I’m part of a group because of my classmates.

What I would highlight:
You have the chance to meet people from diverse backgrounds. You’re not only learning from the teachers from classmates and their backgrounds. Everyone has a lot of experience in their own area and shares it while we discuss daily problems. And it’s interesting: everyone has a different goal when they start, and fine tunes it during the programme.
