Course summary:

We run this course for a minimum of four students and a maximum of 12. If the course you wish to study is fully booked we will offer you alternative dates.

Course content:
This is a 12 hour course run over two successive Sundays. The course offers a basic understanding of radar set controls, radar plotting and plotting aids, including the use of radar as an aid to navigation.
Training takes place on our state of the art bridge simulator using a range of modern radar sets and associated equipment.

Qualifications achieved:
RYA Radar course certificate.

Progression opportunities:
This is a short course offered in support of the longer yachtmaster series.
