and other facilities. It will enable an understanding of the problems relating to asbestos bearing materials and a knowledge of the relevant legislation. It will also emphasise the health risk posed by asbestos and the methods used to identify, remove and replace it under controlled conditions. The implications for managing asbestos in work are fully discussed, the final session can address the clients in-house procedures for asbestos management or deal with the process of asbestos in buildings
