What you need to know
How will I study?

A mixture of theory and practical to support your training to become a competent operator. Course Contents: - Maintenance (engine, drive system and gear head) - Selecting the appropriate cutting head - Re-assembly - Maintaining and fitting the cutting head - Correct personal protective equipment (PPE) - Adjusting the machine and harness - Inspecting the site and identifying hazards - Environmental considerations - Fuelling - Starting the machine - Cutting a test area - After-care
How will I be taught?

Eperienced trainers (NPTC accredited) will teach theory and practical and offer a wide range of real life examples drawn from their workplaces. 1 Day Training
How will I be assessed?

You will be independently assessed by one of our NPTC approved assessors. We are able to arrange training and assessment at your premises or another site. 1 Day Assessment
