Suitable for: This ½ day course is for anyone whose work brings them into contact with vulnerable adults. It aims to provide an introduction to adult abuse.

Course programme
The course is aimed at staff and volunteers at all levels working in any social care or health service, for example care homes, home care, day centres, voluntary schemes, or the Police. It is suitable for people who work with any group, such as older people, people with learning difficulties, people with mental health problems, and people with physical disabilities.
It is an introductory programme and will be useful to anyone who has not had training on adult protection. It also links to NVQ. Please note: It is not intended that this training is used as a refresher.
