Safeguarding Adults

This e-learning course looks at the issues relating to safeguarding adults. There are numerous notable drivers that have helped to shape the UK’s approach towards safeguarding adults and the course will explore many of them, looking at important regulations. It is often impossible to determine whether someone is vulnerable just by looking at them and can include people in need in community care services; people with mental or other disability; people unable to take care of themselves or unable to protect themselves against harm or exploitation or a person can be vulnerable by virtue of age or illness.
