What will you be learning?
This course is an introduction to the hair and beauty industry and to working in a salon. It includes: Customer service; reception duties; health and safety; introduction to hairdressing services; introduction to basic perming and colouring; applying basic make-up and providing basic manicure.

What happens when you have finished?
After successful completion of the course, students can progress onto a NVQ 1 in Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy.
