This course is aimed at anyone who is responsible for carrying out statutory scaffold inspections in accordance with the Work and Height Regulations 2005 and workers wishing to expand their knowledge of scaffolding
Upon completion of this training course, delegates will have:
* A good working knowledge of BS 5973 (TG20, BSEN 12811-1) and its impact and relevance to scaffolding
* An understanding and appreciation of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its relevance to scaffolding
* An understanding and appreciation of the Health and Safety and Welfare Act 1996, Working at Heights Regulation 2005 and its relevance to scaffolding
* A sound knowledge of the various types of scaffolding and their application
* An ability to examine a scaffolding construction and detect any faults and have an awareness of corrective actions
