Description
Scarborough Sixth Form College is a great place to study; ask the students. In November 2008 Ofsted did just that and the students were very positive about the support and encouragement given by their teachers and tutors. They strongly believe that SSFC is an excellent stepping stone from school and value the different and more independent atmosphere. We agree with them!We also believe we are a successful, supportive and friendly College providing high quality education and enabling success for students, staff and the future of the community. The College places a high priority on adding value to the personal and social experience of all of our students. We have over a thousand full-time 16-19 students mostly doing Level 3 courses (mainly A levels, some BTEC) with some taking Level 2 (GCSE and BTEC First Certificate) courses first before moving on to Level 3 courses. We also have an outstanding adult Lifelong Learning provision.
