About this course

The Agile Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Agile practices to everyone involvedin the project; clears impediments for the team; and, ensure that Agile processes are being followed. Successful candidates will be awarded the Agile Master Certification (SAMC™) certification by SCRUM study after passing the certification exam. If its for knowledge, then you can just do the background training otherwise if its to prove yourself to an employer. Many companies do not require certification and instead place a higher value on actual experience of Agile techniques. If you are a consultant or contractor, a certification will more often satisfy a check-list item in the job profile. If you are a full-time software engineer, lead or manager, then the experience is the key.

Agile Master Certified (SAMC™) professionals are facilitators who ensure that the Agile Team is provided with an environment conducive to completing the project successfully. The Agile Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Agile practices to everyone involved in the project; clears impediments for the team; and, ensure that Agile processes are being followed. Successful candidates will be awarded the Agile Master Certified (SAMC™) certification by SCRUM study after passing the certification exam. There is no formal prerequisite for this certification.

There is no formal prerequisite for this certification. However, a SDC™ or SMC™ certified professional will be able to easily understand the concepts required for the certification exam.

What I would highlight: The group completed the PMP training with Bruce Maidi yesterday. The training was very worthwhile; Bruce is a great trainer with an unusual sense of humor, a refreshing educator. I’d like to start moving towards the next level of the certification process, give more options.
