2. Course description Improve your sewing skills, your sense of self worth and your wardrobe. This friendly and supportive class will help you to develop your practical sewing ability and nurture your creativity. Your tutor will advise you on the choice of a commercial pattern to suit your body shape and which fabric will be most appropriate. Working at your own pace you will cover all the techniques required to produce your garment to a professional standard.

3. Entry requirements This course is suitable for all abilitiesWe welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs. Equipment required Once enrolled please discuss your requirements with the tutor as each person will have a different project. As dress patterns vary so much in size and do not conform to dress sizes found in shops it is essential that you discuss which pattern you are thinking of buying before hand with your tutor.
