2. Course description This course covers all aspects of garment making including pattern alterations to accommodate body shape and design alterations. Learners can choose to make garments for themselves or others. Learners may prefer to alter existing ready to wear garments to correct fitting problems or upcycle them into other items. Learners work at their own pace in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

3. Entry requirements All Abilities including absolute beginners.We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs. Equipment required Once enrolled please discuss your requirements with the tutor as each person will have a different project. As dress patterns vary so much in size and do not conform to dress sizes found in shops it is essential that you discuss which pattern you are thinking of buying before hand with your tutor.
