Gain confidence and enjoy your sewing by mastering your machine! If you’ve a new sewing machine, or want to get more from an existing one, bring it along to this two hour sewing machine skills session and discover how to unlock its full potential without the frustrations.

Haven’t got a machine or don’t know what to buy? Use one of our machines to ‘try before you buy’, compare different machines, how they operate, and discover which might suit you best.

This session will debunk the technology and all those extra bits that came with the machine but you’ve never used! Learn about needles and threads, threading, stitch length, sewing with basic and decorative stitches and the art of tension control. Master machining in straight lines and curves and sew the perfect buttonhole. Feeling more confident? Now try getting creative with free machine embroidery.
