Course review:
The Chair Massage course, also known as On-Site Chair Massage or Seated Acupressure Massage is a technique covering the back, shoulders, neck, arms and hands, and the scalp. It is an extremely popular course and very much in demand, due to its versatility. The client remains clothed, no oils are used and the massage takes place on a specially designed portable chair, allowing the therapist to work in offices, clinics, gyms, exhibitions and most public areas.
The massage sequence works on all of the pressure points of the upper body. It is a very effective therapy for clients with neck, back and shoulder issues and the length of treatment can be varied to suit the individual usually between 10 - 25 minutes.
The chair massage course is ideal for beginners with no previous massage experience or for the therapist looking to add to their experience and gain CPD points. The course is accredited by the following professional bodies: Complementary Therapists Association, Embody, The Guild of Holistic Therapists, Complementary Medical Association and Federation of Holistic Therapies.
On successful course completion you will receive your certificate at the end of the day. A comprehensive training manual is provided for all students including marketing and insurance advice.
