Six Sigma Back Belt Pre-course Work

Candidates must have passed the Six Sigma Green Belt course offered by The Knowledge Academy. Following confirmation of booking The Knowledge Academy will send the Pre-Course work to the delegate.

This work consists of: 1) Six Sigma BB Pre Course Reading v1.1. 2) Six Sigma Pre Course Scenario Call Centre v1.0.

The pre-course work on this course will require around 30 hours of study prior to the course start date.

You will need a laptop with a copy of Minitab installed. The download is available on a 30 day free trial version (details are explained within your pre-course reading document on how to download).

It is important to point out that the trial version is only for 30 days, so you need to time your download so Minitab remains active for the duration of the course. Also, Minitab is not currently available for Apple Macs.

Six Sigma Black Belt Examination

• A 100 question multiple choice examination with a pass mark of 70 out of 100.
• Success in this examination indicates that the candidate would be able to lead a programme of process improvement initiates guiding up to 6 Green Belt teams at any one time act as a subject matter expert on Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools.

Course Structure

• During The Knowledge Academy’s Six Sigma Black Belt 10 day course, delegates will spend time preparing for the Lean Six Sigma Yellow, Green & Black Belt examinations with a case study taken on the final day of the course.
