About this course
- Have a deeper operational understanding of some of the main social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and their uses
- Further understand the advantages of social media for developing your business through your assessment of how your currently operate
- Understand how to spark greater interest in your work by succinct and effective presentations
- Gain extra information on useful resources to help market yourself successfully.
It is essential to bring your smartphone (fully charged) and/or other devices if you currently use them for social media. This will allow you to refer to live examples when needed.
You will be taught using a range of techniques including workshops, short lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises, group and individual assistance. Please note the City Lit uses Apple Mac computers in Animation, Digital arts, Information from the course will also be available afterwards either via handouts or digitally.
