Course review:

Social media moves fast, so fast that it is easy to get confused by it all. Does Twitter send you into turmoil? Are you puzzled by Pinterest? Flummoxed by Facebook?

If so, come along to our Social Media Workshop on Monday 17th September, 10am-4pm. This one day course is aimed at simplifying social media and helping small businesses and organisations thrive online.

Social Media Consultant, Mar Dixon will be running the workshop. She will be your guide to the major social networking platforms including Twitter and Facebook. You’ll also get an insight into some as of the new and emerging networks. You’ll learn the basic rules and etiquette that applies to each network before considering how your organisation stands to benefit.

The workshop is not about a one size fits all approach to social media. The focus will be on finding the right approach for you and your organisation – even down to making sure the right people have the right responsibilities.

Mar will give you advice and support in establishing a strong online identity and building relationships with potential customers. She’ll also give pointers on creating and sourcing engaging content.

The workshop is ideal for small business owners, freelancers and marketers not already familiar with the social media landscape.

We’ll contact you shortly before the course to find out about you and your organisation. This will enable us to tailor the day’s content to your needs. The information-filled day offers excellent value for money at just £40.00 per person (there is also a £3.05 Eventbrite booking fee). Places can be booked online.
