Your Course
This course aims to provide revision and extension for those who have passed AS level or achieved a broadly equivalent standard of language skill, and for those who wish to go further without the immediate prospect of examination. It will concentrate on active language use and on reinforcement of grammatical elements covered during the AS course. The course employs a communicative approach and students will have the maximum opportunity to participate in the class through role plays, debates, expressing their views etc. The course will also give attention to aspects of the history, economy and culture of Spanish- speaking countries.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the 10 weeks you will have been given the opportunity to:
· Communicate with increased accuracy and confidence in Spanish
· Talk about different aspects of the countries where Spanish is spoken, including the media, daily life, the arts and social issues

Your Tutor
Ana Isabel Sobrino Gonzalez is a native Spanish speaker from Salamanca [Spain], where she obtained her first degree. She achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, and now teaches Spanish at all levels: absolute beginners, A-level, and the Diploma in Spanish as a foreign language (DELE). Ana is currently a member of the Cambridge University Hispanic Society.

Tuition fees: £95
Method of payment: Fees for short courses (10 weeks or less) to be paid in full at enrolment and for long courses (12 weeks or more) fees of 50% can be paid at enrolment plus 50% as a cheque. Course places cannot be reserved without receipt of both payments.

Please note that there are no classes during half term Monday 15th - Friday 19th February 2010 unless otherwise stated.
