What is the course content?

Over the two years, students will study a selection of the following units:

• Scientific Principles for Sport and Exercise
• Exercise Physiology
• Sport and Exercise Psychology
• Sport and Exercise Sciences Project
• Fitness Testing for Sport and Exercise
• Exercise Health and Lifestyle
• Sports Injuries
• Practical Sport Performance
• Anatomy for Sport and Exercise
• Sports Nutrition
• Sports Coaching
How will your work be assessed?

Students will maintain a portfolio for a record of assessment.
Each unit will be graded as a Pass, Merit or Distinction.
What are the entry requirements?

Other information.

BHASVIC has a history steeped in sporting success, studying with us will allow you to use our new facilities, work with dedicated staff members and if you choose you can become a real team player in many of our team sports.
Many of our students have gained county or national honours and we award our own sporting colours to those students that have excelled during the year.
We also provide weekly enrichment classes that include trampolining, street dance, table tennis and badminton to name but a few. These activities are open to all the students within the college and we encourage all levels of fitness and ability to take part.
