Sports Therapy VTCT Level 3

What will you be learning?
This course give the skills to provide body and sports massage and to give advice on injury treatment and prevention.

This course consists of: Certificate in Swedish Massage, Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy, Certificate in Gym Instructing Level 2, Diploma in Health, Safety, Hygiene and Employment Standards and includes the following subjects: Body and sports massage; anatomy and physiology; sports injuries; fitness testing and training in relation to gym instructing; postural assessment and correction and first aid.

Assessment is on-going.

What happens when you have finished?
After you have successfully completed this course, you can gain employment as a massage therapist on a self-employed basis or work with sports teams, chiropractitioners and physiotherapist or as a gym instructor. You can also progress onto a Sports Therapy Degree.
