Groupwork Courses

This workshop have been developed in response to the ongoing and increasing need for understanding and skills for working in groups and teams.

To be eligible for the Certificate participants must attend at least two of the two day workshop; at least one of the one day workshop and the Group Facilitation course. It is not necessary to complete the workshop in a particular order. It may well be that one particular workshop is more relevant than another for your professional development at a certain time.

For those wishing to receive the certificate there will be one piece of written work to be completed after attendance and participation in the workshops.

Stages of Development in Groups

Knowing about typical patterns in the evolution of a group will help you as a participant and group or team leader.

This workshop will focus on:

• A number of models of group development
• Developing skills in identifying stages
• Exploration of tasks facing groups at different stages of development
