Start Printmaking! – 6 Week Evening Course 7-9pm (Thursdays) Farnham Maltings, Farnham, Surrey GU9 7QR

Want to have a go at printmaking but don’t know where to start? This 6-week course is the perfect introduction to the art of printmaking for artists of all levels of experience. We will introduce various different techniques including collograph (collage prints), monoprinting, linocut, woodcut and drypoint. Each technique will be clearly explained and demonstrated followed by time to experiment and practice. Sessions can be attended on their own or as a course.

Week 1: Monoprinting (Thurs 17th May)
Week 2: Collograph (Thurs 24th May)
Week 3: Linocut (Thurs 31st May)
Week 4: Woodcut (Thurs 21st June)
Week 5: Drypoint (Thurs 28th June)
Week 6: Open studio session (Thurs 5th July)

No previous experience of printmaking is necessary – just bring along plenty of ideas or images to work with and we will help you do the rest. Materials provided.

Price: £15 per session or £75 for the full 6 week course (including materials and use of tools)
