This Contract Management course teaches individuals the basics of managing and understanding contracts. Participants of this five day contract management course will develop skills that will allow participants to receive the best contract. This course focuses on the seven critical success factors. Participants will develop an understanding of how the legal part of a contract can be used to gain the advantage during negotiation. Practice negotiating and closing contracts. Learn how to manage a contract when it starts going wrong. Upon completion of this course, participants will have a general understanding of contract management and will be able to effectively use that knowledge to gain the best contract available.

- know what to do when, or if, the contract starts to go wrong
- effectively handle claims and variations
- complete the contract finalisation and close-out documentation.
