Course outline:

This new qualification ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools’, has been designed to replace the old 7327. An apprenticeship is a framework of qualifications designed to support the development of occupational competence of employees. The apprentice completes the NVQ, the Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Schools, Key Skills Communication, Application of Number and Information Technology and a short
course on Employment Rights and Responsibilities.

Delivery:

Learning is usually provided by attendance at a series of small group learning sessions arranged according to the employers requirements, normally in the evenings. The NVQ is assessed by observation in the workplace and testimony of the learner’s practice, supported by questioning of knowledge to provide evidence of competence.
