This course uses exercise to counteract neck and shoulder tension, such as may build up during desk and computer based work, playing a musical instrument or intense repetitive work involving the shoulders, arms and hands. A section at the end of each lesson will integrate movement patterns between the upper and lower body to ensure a balanced approach to posture.

About this course

- Perform stretches that release tension in the upper body- Demonstrate and practise exercises that strengthen postural muscles in the upper back- Practise Pilates exercises that strengthen abdominal/mid-section core strength- Perform exercises that mobilise and co-ordinate the entire spine.

Loose comfortable clothing suitable for exercise.
