      Description

      This qualification enables NVQ trainers and assessors to assess work of NVQ candidates on a competence based course. It is a requirement of awarding bodies that NVQ assessors hold this qualification.

      · Requirements

      You need to be occupationally competent with recent, relevant knowledge and experience in the area you wish to train and assess. This must meet the qualifications as stated by the standards setting body. You must be working with candidates on an NVQ competency-based programme and be able to assess three full units in total with a minimum of two candidates. You must have an internal audit system in place.
