What you will learn
In addition to developing your knowledge and expertise in your chosen area of study, you will be able to relate this to your own professional context in order to address areas of concern and development needs in an informed manner. You will also be in a position to understand the relevance and application of theories, concepts, models, methodologies and techniques applied to your practice.
What you will studyTo obtain the MA Teaching and Learning you are required to achieve 180 credits.
You will study three of the following core modules:
Research Awareness and Support Skills (20 credits);
Organisational Management (20 credits);
Curriculum Studies (20 credits);
Research Methods – Field Studies (20 credits).
In addition, you will study the two following specialist modules:
Planning and Enabling Teaching, Learning and Assessment for Professional Practice (30 credits);
Developing and Evaluating Approaches to Supporting and Managing Learning (30 credits).
You will also undertake a dissertation worth 60 credits.
