Course Overview
This course is ideal if you are interested in teaching English as a foreign language to International Students. This qualification is accepted by British Council accredited schools in the UK and abroad. The CertTESOL is very widely recognised by employers as an initial qualification in TESOL and thousands of successful trainees have used their CertTESOL to gain employment in schools all over the world.

Course Structure
The part-time course will be taught on Thursday evenings 6pm-9pm and some Tuesday evenings initially, (September 10th 2009 March 2010) & Saturday mornings 10am-2.00pm (between October and March 2010) Saturday dates may vary slightly depending on group size.

Qualification Aims
Trinity Level 4 Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

Assessments/Examinations
Assessment is continuous and takes the form of teaching observations, materials design, one assignment, journal writing and two language awareness tests.

Free tuition is available to those in receipt of certain means tested benefits or to their un-waged dependants.
