"As part of my continual professional development in my teaching role I completed my CET course. It is my intention to complete the DET course then continue to complete the NQTS. Due to the nature of my role as an instructor completing the DET course will enable me to have a more comprehensive understanding of the teaching role. The CET allowed me an insight into the course itself and the expectations of the more advanced courses. My expectations is to complete the DET within the time scale, and develop a greater understanding of the teaching role itself, develop my understanding of learning and teaching approaches as I feel that this will not only benefit my own teaching skills but also benefit the learners as they will be involved in lessons that are well planned and managed with motivating lessons and improved assessment skills. The support that I received to complete my CET was outstanding and I feel confident that this support will also aid me throughout the course in order to complete it at a high standard. My personal aims with regards to completing this course is to progress to become a qualified teacher and the senior management have confirmed that they will support me throughout the course and have explained my personal continual professional development and that they hope to see progress into a qualified teacher role".

This was my first experience doing an online course. I found it to be a rewarding experience. I found the 3 Award in Childcare and Education to be smooth sailing & got a lot out of it. I was in touch with the college by phone a few times and found the staff to be courteous & helpful. Tutors very helpful when you have question and feedback is very informative. Assessor assessed the work promptly. I would not hesitate in recommending The Learning College to anyone interested in doing an online course. Thank you.

Mix of people kept it entertaining - good venue, nice lunch too.
Will definately use what I have learnt - lots of things I new but I can use them in a different way and become more effective.
Value for money....? Definately if I pass.

This is an intensive course. It is delivered and supported by the tutor to a high standard. I would recommend this to anyone who feels they can cope with intensity and wants to complete the course in a short period of time. You must be self-motivated to complete the work. however, the tutor is available for support and advice should you require it.

Glad I selected JPA and drove the 150 miles. Good structure, good pace, effective tutor.
