Course summary

A nationally recognised and flexible qualification accredited by Institute of Leadership & Management Awarding Body. The course will enable the candidate to enhance their personal growth and development and so enable them to undertake their role with greater confidence in the workplace. This is a blended learning course run by LearnInvicta Limited.

The Award

This is a concise qualification designed to give the learner a basic knowledge of roles, functions and responsibilities of a team leader and the limits of their authority and accountability. The mandatory unit in “Developing yourself as a team leader” is a good starting point for team/cell leaders who are new to their roles or for aspiring leaders who wish to gain a solid understanding of the principles and practicalities of team leading.

Management of Learning and Development Provision;

There are six units in total, four mandatory and two optional.

National Credit Value 3 credits

Guided Learning Minimum 22 hours

Structure Induction 1 hour

Tutorial Support - at least one hour

One Mandatory unit with a credit value of 1

Selected optional unit(s) with a minimum credit value of 2
Assessment

Reflective reviews, oral briefings, case studies, short answer questions, work based assignments, or centre devised alternatives

Prerequisites

There is no prescribed recommended prior knowledge, attainment or experience needed. An initial assessment will consider numeracy, literacy and sector skills as well as previous qualifications and practical experience. Candidates must be employed or in a realistic working environment.

These are self study courses with attendance (Non-computer based), which can be delivered at locations of your convenience dependant on numbers.
