Introduction
This course offers delegates the opportunity to gain an understanding of the information and expertise required to effectively use the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools found in Visual Studio and on-premises Team Foundation Server. Candidates will learn to use these tools to plan, track, develop, design, test, and deliver business value in the practice of working software.
The course demonstrates to Developers, Testers, Product Owners, Project Managers, Architects and Release Managers the value of the various ALM features and capabilities found in and throughout Visual Studio.
Prerequisites
Delegates must have practice working on a software development team and be at ease with basic ALM processes, practices and tools.
Furthermore, delegates should:
- Be familiar with their growth procedure
- Know the Microsoft Windows working system and security basics
- Have used Visual Studio (any up-to-date style)
- Be able to deliver and understand requirements
- Have familiarity with distributed application plan
