Telecoms Height Safety Training Course

A practical and theoretical advancement of our TFPI1 and TOCL1 Modules

• Day 1 - A morning looking at the laws and legislation relating to work at height, followed by
  instruction for PPE inspection. The afternoon covers the practical elements of tower climbing
  and personal fall arrest systems.
• Day 2 - Theoretical and practical elements of high structure rescue & evacuation.
• Day 3 - The morning covers rooftop access - knot skills, anchor points, work restraint systems.
  The afternoon covers the basic theory of RF radiation including health hazards and recommended safe working practice.

• Health & Safety for work at height / PPE for work at height
• Advanced Industrial Climbing / High Structure Rescue
• Roof Top Access / Ladder Safety
• RF Hazards Awarness / Assessment & certification

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Outdoor clothing suitable for time of year. This could include waterproof trousers, a sturdy jacket, a hat (beanies available in on-site shop), thin leather gloves (also available in on-site shop)
Climbing specific hardware and personal protective equipment will be provided by Xi Training Ltd. If you prefer to use your own PPE kit during the sessions, all we ask is that we are able to see evidence of appropriate certificates of conformity and inspection records.
