2. Course description The aim of this class is to introduce you to creative textiles and machine embroidery. Through this 10 week course you will build on different techniques to create a body of inspiring samples. This will give you the opportunity to experiment in the area of free motion embroidery, utilising your sewing machine and exploring your own creative style in textiles. We will cover:• The different machine stitches. • Which needles, thread and machine feet to use. • How to use your machine to create beautifully embroidered textiles • How to work with fabric, trims and other paraphernalia to create exciting and experimental fabric ideas. A fully working sewing machine is required that does free motion embroidery. If you need to borrow a machine please contact the customer service team and they will reserve one for you.
