You’ll also complete an independent research project that will allow you to specialise in an area of particular interest to you.

About this course

Ideal for those in full-time employment, our MA Theatre from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA) provides a gateway to an exciting future without the need for regular attendance on campus.

The GSA is a member of the Federation of Drama Schools (FDS), and you’ll have unlimited access to our virtual learning environment – supported by industry-leading professionals and passionate academics from GSA.

Furthering your skills, our course will take you deeper into relevant concepts and the fascinating history of theatre from both a practical and critical perspective.

A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in a relevant subject, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. You must have previous engagement with drama, theatre and performance to apply.
