Tiling

  • Introduction to tools and materials
  • Introduction on different tiles available
  • Marking and setting out walls and floors correctly.
  • Materials - Adhesives and grouts explained
  • Practical Cutting (using nippers and cutters)
  • How to cut and fix tiles to floors and walls
  • Cutting around sinks and toilets
  • Cutting and fixing trims
  • How to deal with sockets and pipes
  • Dealing with uneven floors and walls
  • Grouting and polishing techniques
  • How to use gun sealants
  • Sourcing tiles and materials
  • Measuring up correctly

Duration:

Either;
Weekday Course Monday to Thursday, 9am ‘til 4pm.
OR
Weekend Course: 2 consecutive weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 9am ’til 4pm.
