This course follows on from the Numeracy Taster Day, but you can join without having been on the Taster. It is for people who want to develop their basic maths skills at a gentle pace with other adult learners ina relaxed and informal setting.

About this course
There are no formal qualifications required; entry is by interview to make sure that the course is suitable for you. The experience and life skills that students can bring to the course will be welcomed.

Course Overview
This course follows on from the Numeracy Taster Day, but you can join without having been on the Taster.
It is for people who want to develop their basic maths skills at a gentle pace with other adult learners ina relaxed and informal setting.
Course Structure
After On Track students can move on to the Move On course.
Students may also want to join the Evening Work Shop.
Students who have difficulties with study times can be considered.
Teaching support and advice are provided to allow students to improve existing skills and learn new ones. Students also have use of our fully equipped Skills Centre.
Qualification Aims
A nationally recognised qualification in numeracy at a level suited to each student.
Assessments/Examinations
Students use the work that is covered on the course to prepare them to enter for Nationally recognised qualifications in numeracy at various Entry Levels.

You will need pens / pencils and paper.
