Stuart has excellent knowledge base around this subject (I would think the same of all his training subjects). The topics covered were all relevant and essential to the training and medication in general.
Stuart himself has natural attributes to train and interpersonal skills that ensured that everyone was welcomed, their opinions valued and one came away not just empowered to deliver and develop my training packages around medication but also a renewed passion for my general role and responsibilities with social care settings as a registered manager.

This course was without a doubt the best course I have ever attended (and I've attended plenty over the years!). This has been invaluable to my own personal and professional development within my working role and has given me the skills, knowledge and confidence (as do all of Stuart's courses) needed to safely and effectively teach others Moving and Handling.
The course was conducted over 5 days and covered each aspect of moving and handling including; spinal health, back care, risk assessment, consequences of poor practice, the law, best practice and use of equipment to aid in the moving and handling of people.
The course was extremely well structured, fun, interesting and interactive! The trainer's teaching methods adapted to suit the individual needs of those partaking in the course.
I most enjoyed the practical sessions and the homework (homework I hear you say...?) The homework included researching the relevant laws and regulations, devising lesson plans, developing micro teach sessions (to boost our own teaching confidence) and developing group teaching sessions which involved the class remaining in contact outside of the course days!
This course has enabled me to develop my own in-house training programmes and I now teach over 100 staff within our care home. I have gained the confidence teach and challenge others in relation to moving and handling.
I would highly recommend this course to any person who has an interest in this area and a passion to teach others.

The trainer had a great deal of knowledge, friendly and easy to approach if you wanted to ask anything. We had a few role plays these I found very helpful as you also interact with others in your class, and the practical side was very helpful and I learnt lots of helpful things to bring back to my workplace.
