I lived in a student accomodation which is more expensive than a private one. In addition I needed about 100 pounds in the beginning per week.

You can just focus on one text specifically whilst the courses which is kind of sad. On the other side you get a really good input and it's kind of a "must" to discuss and improve you're academic skills.

food is cheap, nightlife is quite expensive. If you rent an house in good position, as i did, you didn't even need a bus card. And if you take a university residence you will have free acces to gym, refectory etc.

It was quite expensive to live, but mainly because I lived off-campus. Otherwise it was not that expensive to live and study. A great way to meet locals is to find a part-time job or volunteering.

I would have wanted more lab hours especially in the first year. It is relatively cheap and you dont have to pat for transportation as you can walk to most places if you live in the city centre.
