Organise financial issues beforehand and expect London to be far more expensive than your home country.It is very expensive to study in London, and the Erasmus Scholarship doesn't even cover half of it. If you do not have extra money to spend there.

Enjoy the city as much as you can. The university has lot of societies, join one or more, you will meet interesting people and make lot of friends! And go to Lake district! I simply enjoyed.

food is cheap, nightlife is quite expensive. If you rent an house in good position, as i did, you didn't even need a bus card. And if you take a university residence you will have free acces to gym, refectory etc.
