Our course helps heavy vehicle drivers learn to fully understand drivers' schedules and the work hours directive to avoid penalties, fines and fixed points. This course will give participants a complete understanding of the legislation they must comply with in order to comply with EU driving schedule rules, national GB standards and the directive on working time.

About this course
Our course covers everything you need to know as a driver with regards to drivers’ hours and the working time directive. Within the course we cover EU drivers’ hours rules, GB domestic rules and the working time directive which will give the student the knowledge they need to avoid the pitfalls of non-compliance. Our course helps HGV drivers learn how to fully understand drivers’ hours and the working time directive so they can avoid fixed penalties, fines and points. This course will give students a full understanding of the legislation they must follow in order to be compliant with EU drivers hours rules, GB domestic rules and the working time directive.
There are no age limits or any other barriers in relation to completing the course although it is recommended that you possess competent English skills. Also, as the full course is computer based, a basic level of computer literacy is advantageous.
NTP's online Understanding Drivers Hours & The Working Time Directive course is a fully interactive online course. The whole course is run through a web based system which students are required to login to.
