Unit 2: Causes an Spread of Infection

- Understand the causes of infection.
- Understand the transmission of infection

Unit 3: Cleaning, Decontamination and Waste Management

Learning outcomes
- The learner will:
- Understand how to maintain a clean environment to prevent the spread of infection.
- Understand the principles and steps of the decontamination process
- Understand the importance of good waste management practice in the prevention of the spread of infection.

Course Assessment

Completing a series of tutor marked assignments together with an end of course multiple-choice questionnaire, will lead you to the highly acclaimed Certificate in Infection Control.
