Description
You will need a keen interest in entering one of the uniformed services together with commitment, a positive attitude, effort and determination. You will also attend an interview, take an Initial Assessment and be invited to attend a course experience day prior to starting.

Course Length
1 year (full time)

What will I study?
You will cover a range of topics including employment skills, team work and health & fitness, navigation skills. In addition you will take part in outdoor adventurous activities and camping expeditions. You will also learn functional skills which are English, Maths and ICT as required.

How will I learn?
You will develop skills and practical experience, working with people, communication, planning, researching and evaluating information.

How will I be assessed?
You compile a portfolio which will be continually assessed and graded for each unit taken. You will also demonstrate practical skills and prepare presentations.



Where could it lead?
You could progress to the National Diploma in Uniformed Public Services or a career within the unformed services.
