Unit 821 - Safe Entry to Open Trenches

Overview
The Course will comply with the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 so that candidates will be able to:

• verify that a confined spaces is NC1 classified
• verify the necessary permissions and control for work at NC1 confined spaces
• use and interpret gas monitors and recognise problem atmospheres
• organise and use safe working procedures
• be able to react appropriately and positively to alarms and emergency

Suitable For
Candidates who are required to work in or at confined spaces where the risk level has been classified as NC1 trenches.
