Overview
The course will comply with the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 so that candidates will be able to:
  • interpret risk assessments
  • plan to enter structures with irrespirable atmospheres
  • prepare breathing apparatus for use, observing duration indicators and user checks
  • put on and wear breathing apparatus correctly, observing all fitting and performance checks
  • work safely whilst wearing the apparatus
  • conduct and maintain safety by carrying out continual risk assessments during work
  • undertake all user tests and hygiene procedures on breathing apparatus on completion of the work
