Unvented Hot Water

Approval document G3. Stipulate that an unvented hot water system shall be installed by a person competent to do so. The aim of the course is to turn the candidate student into a competent person
Entry RequirementsNVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or MES
5 years experience in the heating and hot water industry.
Course Content
Modules include:·Design system to customers needs·Recognise components and position in a system·Test the components of a system·Commission & De commission a system·Maintain effective operation of system·Understand function controls·Maintain safe working environment·Maintain effective working relationships.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is by open and closed book, multi choice and written assessment. The certificate is awarded by the awarding body B.P.E.C.
What can I do next?
On completion of and passing the course the student proves competence under the Building Regulations Competent Person Scheme.
