You need a Level Two Technical Certificate or relevant practical experience. You will be assessed on your English and Maths Skills at interview.

You can read and understand short pieces of writing such as letters, messages, simple stories, timetables and adverts. You can write short pieces of writing - for example an email to a friend, a simple letter, a story or a message.
You can work with numbers, symbols, and simple diagrams. You can add and subtract simple numbers and use simple fractions. You can use money, tell the time, measure things and know about squares, triangles and rectangles.
What qualification will I receive?
C&G Certificate in Vehicle Body and Paint Operations Level 3
Where can it lead?
Progression to a full NVQ or employment.
What will I study?
You will study all aspects of Heavy Crash Repair and Paint Refinishing techniques.
How will I be taught?
You will be taught through practical training with theory input on either Body Repair techniques or Paint Refinishing methods.
How will I be assessed?
Practical qualifying tasks and online assessment.

You will have access to a personal tutor to help you throughout the course. The college offers a comprehensive range of student services including learning support, language support and guidance.
