Veneer Repair

The two day Veneer Repair Course is designed to provide guidance and instruction in the repair of broken and damaged veneer prior to finishing.
Students will learn how to patch and replace chipped and missing veneers, stringing lines and bandings, repairing any groundwork as necessary. The course will also look at the restoration of damaged inlays. After carrying out the repairs we will employ the use of stains and pigments to consolidate the work.

Students should bring any damaged pieces of their own to work on but if nothing suitable can be found we can provide some useful examples to repair. Please let us know in advance.
