Entry Requirements
Suitable level of English and maths is required to complete the course.

Course Duration
Part Time, one evening per week for 15 weeks

Skills and Benefits
The main aim of the ITEC Level 2 Certificate in Nail Technology is to enable you to gain the necessary practical and theoretical skills in order to provide Nail Technology treatments using one of the following systems – Liquid and powder or Gel or Wraps.

Mandatory Units
Provide Manicure Treatments Provide And Maintain Nail Enhancements Provide Nail Art Follow Health And Safety Practice In The Salon Client Care And Communication In Beauty Related Industries Working In The Beauty Related Industries

Optional Units
There are no optional units on this qualification.

Course Assessment
Once all treatment evidence documentation, assignments and underpinning knowledge have been completed, the learner will have a final practical examination carried out by the ITEC External Examiner, who will also sample all treatment evidence documentation and assignments.

Progression
Level 2 Award/Certificate in Nail Technology.
