Yes, if you want to develop your Swedish Massage skills.
What do I need?
There are no formal qualifications but you should be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in this subject.
VTCT Health and Safety qualification is a requirement of this course. If you have not achieved this qualification within the past 3 years, then you will be required to study this unit along side the Swedish Massage course.
A uniform is also required. You will be given costs and order forms on commencement of the programme (grants and loans may be available to help with the costs of uniforms).

Where will I study?
Baltic Campus
You'll be based at our fantastic £39million Baltic campus on the quayside. The campus has a prime location on Gateshead quayside, and state-of-the-art facilities including a Jacuzzi, gym and sauna, a 200 seat theatre, state-of-the-art classrooms, training kitchen and restaurant, refectory, bistro and vending areas.
How will I be assessed?
You will be continually assessed in both practical and theory work. You will be required to build up a portfolio of your work throughout the course.
How will I be taught?
You will develop your skills within a realistic environment provided through our superbly equipped salons, and will be taught by a very experienced team of lecturers.
What qualification will I get?
VTCT level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage.
Can I go on to further study?
You could continue your studies to gain other related certificates in subjects such as Aromatherapy, Reflexology, or Indian Head Massage.
What are the career opportunities?
You could seek employment in a Beauty Salon or Leisure Complex or go self employed.
