Massage is a holistic therapy, in that it can work on a physical, mental and spiritual level. It is defined as “the manipulation of soft tissues for therapeutic purposes”. On this course you will learn how to match the correct techniques to the individual’s needs. Benefits of massage include better circulation, enhanced lymphatic drainage, improved mobility of joints and muscles, reduced tension and increased relaxation.

L3 Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology, if not previously studied will need to be taken as a separate qualification along side Swedish Massage
Assessment evidence required to achieve award
Polo shirt and black trousers. (Polo shirt can be ordered at beginning of course). Indoor clean shoes. All must be worn to each practical session (no jeans allowed).
